Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MyMacrosFast mobile application (the "App"), operated by Hadi Ramlaoui, an individual based in California, USA ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use the App with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Description of the Service

MyMacrosFast lets you log meals by photo or text description and provides AI-generated estimates of food items, portion sizes, and macronutrient/calorie content. It also includes an AI assistant ("Maccy") that helps you adjust and review what you've logged, a food database search and barcode scanner backed by public nutrition databases, and an optional Daily Goal calculated from details you provide.

Important: these estimates are generated automatically using AI and are provided for general informational and tracking purposes only. They are not medical, nutritional, or dietary advice, and are not guaranteed to be accurate. Do not rely on the App for managing a medical condition, food allergy, or any situation where precise nutritional information is critical. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian for medical or dietary guidance.

3. Accounts

You may use the App anonymously, or sign in with Google or Apple to save your data to an account. When you sign in from an anonymous session that already has logged meals, the App asks whether to bring them over to your account; if you decline, they remain under the anonymous session. You're responsible for maintaining the security of any account you sign in with, and for all activity that occurs under it. You can delete your account and data at any time from the Account screen (see our Privacy Policy for what is removed).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App or its underlying services
Abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent limits on the App's AI-analysis features
Upload content you don't have the right to upload, or content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes on others' rights

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

The App offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, MyMacrosFast Premium. Every account can log one meal with AI analysis for free; Premium unlocks continued AI photo and text analysis and the AI assistant, subject to fair-use limits that keep the service available to everyone. Manual logging, food database search, barcode scanning, pinned and recent meals, and daily goals do not require a subscription. The exact features, price, billing period, and any free trial are shown in the App at the time of purchase.

Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through Apple's In-App Purchase system, at the price and billing interval shown in the App at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, except where an eligible free trial applies. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends at the applicable subscription price.
If a free trial is offered, its duration and the subscription price after the trial are shown before purchase. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's own refund policies — we do not process refunds directly.
We may change subscription pricing going forward; any change will be handled through Apple's subscription system, including any required notice or consent. Changes will not retroactively change the price of your current paid billing period.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings before or after deleting; Apple's refund policies apply to any remaining period.
If a purchase completes but Premium does not appear active right away, the App will keep checking; tapping "Restore Purchases" in the App re-syncs your subscription from Apple at any time.

You can manage subscriptions in Apple subscription settings and request eligible refunds through Apple Support.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos and descriptions you submit. By submitting them, you grant us a limited license to use, process, and store them solely to provide and improve the App's functionality (including sending them to our AI/backend providers as described in our Privacy Policy).

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ITS MACRO/CALORIE ESTIMATES WILL BE ACCURATE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your unlawful use of the App or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account and data at any time via the Account screen. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. We will provide notice or request agreement where required by applicable law. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits consumer rights, warranties, remedies, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
